Music Theory For Guitarists

If you know Music Theory but still feel stuck every time you pick up the guitar, you're not alone. The real issue is the gap between what you understand and how to use it on the fretboard.

That’s exactly why I created Music Theory For Guitarists—a complete, step-by-step masterclass designed to help you finally apply theory on the guitar, not just in your head.
âś… Scales: Learn how to generate, visualize, and play them anywhere on the neck

âś… Chord Voicings & Inversions: Understand how to build and move chords across the fretboard, add tensions, and identify chords.

âś… Intervals & Tensions: Hear and identify intervals on the guitar. This helps you hear chord progressions, melodies, and allows you to play what you hear in your head.

âś… Chord Progression Analysis: Break down real songs and understand how and why they work, and write your own killer chord progressions!

âś… Licks & Solo Breakdown: Understand why your favorite licks sound great, and how to make your solos sound more intentional

âś… Creative Application: Use your theory knowledge to write, jam, and improvise with confidence.

âś… ...and more
This is the course that bridges the gap between what you know and what you play. Understanding Theory application on the guitar allows you to play what you hear in your head!

PS... 93% of students who complete Music Theory For Guitarists report more clarity on the fretboard, faster progress, and greater freedom in their playing.

Too many guitarists hit a wall; not because they lack theory knowledge, but because they don’t know how to apply it to the fretboard.
If you understand music theory but still feel lost when trying to use it on the guitar, you're not alone. Knowing theory is one thing. Seeing it, hearing it, and playing it is another.

Ask yourself:
👉 Can you instantly visualize any scale, chord, interval, or arpeggio across the neck?

👉 Do you understand how intervals and tensions actually sound and feel under your fingers? Can you add them to chords to make them colorful?

👉 Can you break down a chord progression or solo and connect it to your own playing?

If not, that’s the gap. And it’s what’s holding you back every time you pick up the guitar.

Music Theory For Guitarists
helps you close that gap and finally unlock the full power of what you already know.
